The Golf is a 2 or 4 door passenger car with a
large hatch which is hinged at the top. Combined ventilation and heating system with fully adjustable mixing of warm and fresh air. Blower works independent of engine rpm or driving speed (L, LS: 2 speed blower). Warm air supply by means of coolant heatexchanger. Fresh air supply via a broadband outlfowopening under the windshield. 2 sidewindow defrosters left and right on the dashboard, also outflowopenings aimed at the footarea. The whole installation can be controlled by 3 horizontally placed sliding controls. Independent of the system there are two fresh-air outflowopenings left and right in the dashboard with directional control.
