The following is an article that appeared in the March 2003 issue of VW Scene International. This article appears on pages 66-70 of that magazine, and was scanned without permission my me (Dan Reid).
This article chronicles Thomas Palubitzi's impressive Golf 1, built in 1974. Only 25 older examples are known to exist, and I would guess there are none nicer than this one.
